This one-day hands-on workshop is designed for clinicians looking to build on their foundational suturing knowledge and refine their practical skills. Through expert instruction and supervised practice, participants will develop greater confidence in a range of suturing techniques to enhance soft tissue management and improve clinical outcomes.

Course convener: Dr Nigel Tan
Dr Nigel Tan is a Specialist Oral Surgeon who divides his time between hospital and private practice in Southland, New Zealand. His postgraduate Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) research focused on wound closure techniques and strategies to optimise procedural efficiency. With a strong interest in evidence-based surgical practice, Dr Tan is passionate about teaching practical suturing skills that enhance clinical outcomes and improve confidence in everyday dental practice.
