Our speaker for the evening is Professor Philippa Howden Chapman, a Distinguished Professor of Public Health at the University of Otago, Wellington Campus, and a leading expert on housing and health. Her research has shaped housing and wellbeing policy in Aotearoa New Zealand, and she has received major honours including the Prime Minister’s Science Prize and the Rutherford Medal.
