COVID-19 Alert Levels

What happens if COVID Levels change?

The university will follow the advice of the Ministry of Health in determining whether the conference will proceed. This includes travel between regions at different alert levels.

COVID-19 Alert level 1

Event proceeds as planned.

COVID-19 Alert level 2

The event can safely proceed with the following protocols in place:

  • Conference plenary sessions
  • Maximum occupancy is limited to 80 people
  • All attendees must be registered
  • All attendees will be checked into the event on arrival
  • COVID-19 QR code will be visible onsite and manual sign-in will also be available
  • Seating will be arranged to comply with social distancing requirements
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided in individual packaging
  • No water station - bottled water will be provided
  • Hand sanitiser will be available
  • Conference dinner will proceed in line with Ministry of Health regulations - Government regulations for eating out

COVID-19 Alert level 3 and 4

The face-to-face event in Wellington cannot proceed at these levels and will be postponed. Once a decision has been made regarding rescheduled dates, you will be given the option of a full refund if you are unable to attend.
