Session descriptions
The symposium will consist of four formats: presentations, synergy sessions, networking sessions and an evening dinner.
1. Presentations
The presentation sessions will feature selected educators, researchers and technologists sharing their innovative AI projects and studies, each aligned with one of the three symposium themes: Practice, Theory and Future. Each 15-minute presentation will be followed by a Q and A segment, providing an opportunity for interactive discussions and deeper insights into the presented topics.
2. Synergy sessions
Synergy sessions are dynamic, collaborative sessions designed to leverage collective intelligence and creativity. Participants, pre-arranged into groups based on their areas of interest, will share experiences and solve provided scenarios. These sessions aim to develop actionable strategies that will be shared with the wider symposium audience.
3. Networking sessions
Networking opportunities are built into the schedule during morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea breaks. These sessions provide informal settings for attendees to connect, share experiences and discuss ideas, facilitating professional relationships and potential collaborations.
4. Post Symposium Networking dinner
We invite those still in Dunedin after the symposium to join us for a networking dinner. This informal gathering provides an opportunity to continue conversations, exchange ideas, and build connections in a relaxed setting. Please note that this dinner is not part of the official symposium programme and attendees will be responsible for their own meal expenses.
Please note:
The programme will appear here and is subject to change.
