‘50 Years On’ Sub-Reunion at the Otago Law 150th Celebrations

A group of Otago Law alumni have initiated the holding of a sub-reunion, at the 150th event, for those who first enrolled in law at the university about 50 years ago (between about 1968 and 1974).

Rod Inglis, Al Thomson, Danny Gowan and John Goddard, especially, warmly invite you to join in this event.

Function on the Friday evening

Firstly, as part of the main event, a special function will be held for this group, following the cocktail party and ‘Dinner by Decades’ at St Margaret’s, on the Friday evening, 14 April 2023.

This function will be held in the Valentine Common Room, at St Margaret’s, in Leith St. Reminiscences are planned.

Those wanting to attend this function should register for the ‘Dinner by Decades’, as an optional extra, and proceed from this dinner to the function in the Valentine room. There is no extra charge. A cash bar will be available, plus a piano.

Golf Day at Balmacewan on the Thursday afternoon

In addition, many members of the 50 Year On group will take part in the Otago 150th Golf Day, which concludes with a meal in the clubhouse that evening (though non-golfers should certainly not be deterred from joining the Friday function described above).

We look forward to seeing you there.
